Participants will learn to cook the following menu: Escargot Ala Ashwell, sauteed jumbo Helix snails simmered in a basil pesto cream sauce with caramelized apples; Fois Gras Stuffed Mission Figs, wrapped in prosciutto, baked and served with a cassis demi sauce; Beef Tip Au Poivre “Fondue,” grilled beef tips seasoned with cracked black pepper with a peppercorn, veal demi and marsala dipping sauce; and roasted baby beet, chevre and arugula crostini with chili honey drizzle.

On Sept. 29 from 2 – 4 pm, Savory Spoon will host a Knife Skills Workshop presented by Peggy Taylor, from Henkel/Zwilling Knives.

Taylor will teach participants how to use a great knife and feel comfortable while cooking.
