Savory Spoon Cooking School Opens for Season


The Savory Spoon Cooking School is celebrating its fifth season and will open June 19 with one of Door County’s favorite chefs. At 6 pm, Mike Mead, chef and owner of the Shoreline Restaurant in Gills Rock, will share his passion for delicious salmon dishes, featuring grilled salmon with maple glaze or with Jamaican salsa. Poached salmon in phyllo crust with a mango salsa will also be a highlight in this dynamic evening of fresh fish and great wines.

The Savory Spoon Cooking School was also recently voted one of state’s top five cooking schools by AAA Magazine.
