Recipe of the Month: Miso Glazed Olives

2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ tsp. grated fresh ginger
1 ½ Tbsp. white miso paste
1 ½ Tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tsp. honey
Pinch of red pepper flakes
2 (6 ounce cans) California olives – drained
Toasted sesame seeds and chopped chives for garnish

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minutes, stir in ginger, miso, rice vinegar, honey and red pepper flakes.

Stir in olives and cook for 2 minutes or until warmed.

Place on a small platter and garnish with chives and sesame seeds.

If this looks to good to be true, it is actually so very good. Easy and delicious too!

Miso is great to have on hand to use in sauces, dressings and soups as well.

Red, Yellow, Black and white pastes are all great, so go ahead and start experimenting this old and new taste.
