Give a budding cook a welcome summer break and with a special “Kids Can Cook” class being offered by the Savory Spoon Cooking School in Ellison Bay. The theme of the class is “Just Desserts” and is being offered on Monday, August 3 at 9:30 am.
Kids love to bake and make sweets for friends and family. In-house instructor Amy Rebhan will teach students how to make some of her favorites in the sweet treat department. These easy but fun desserts are great to make at home and will help build confidence in the kitchen as well. Students will even learn how to make a Door County Cherry pie!
Other desserts being taught include lemon bars, chocolate sandwich cookies, chewy peanut candy bars, M & M popcorn balls, and peanut butter fudge.
