On Tuesday, August 24 at 6 pm, award-winning cheesemaker Chris Roelli will be at the Savory Spoon in Ellison Bay. He will bring along his signature cheese, the Dunbarton Blue, crafted only at the Roelli Cheese Haus, for tasting. The cheese will be paired with gourmet fruits and nuts, cured meats, artisan bread, and wine.
On Thursday, August 26 at 6 pm the school will feature a hands-on cooking experience that will incorporate tomato, basil, and garlic in new and creative ways. The menu will include some of the Schoolhouse Creamery’s delicious Wisconsin Artisan Cheeses, chilled tomato soup, fried green tomatoes, and rosemary cookies with tomato jam.
On Saturday, August 28 at 9:30 am Amy Rebhan will teach a hands-on “Summer Salads” class. The menu offers perfect party ideas for lazy lunches or laidback evening dinners. The menu includes Chinese chicken salad, pesto and peas salad, and grilled tuna salad.
